MADE-TO-ORDER PROCESS
*Please note that as part of our sustainability ethos; and aiming to tread lighter on this earth, we are now making each piece upon purchase. Handmade to order in our Bali Studio, your swimsuit will ship within 1-3 weeks. Please add shipping times stated below.


We are unique to other swim brands due to our “Made-to-order” model. As part of our sustainability ethos; and aiming to tread lighter on this earth, we are now making each piece upon purchase.

We are trying to eliminate the fast-fashion model and shift towards a slower model. This means that your swimsuit will be made specially for you by our own in-house team. 

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

Step 1: Your order is processed and scheduled for production.
Step 2: Your sustainable fabric and materials are checked and then cut to your style and size.
Step 3: Your cut fabric is then allocated to one of our talented machine technicians for sewing.
Step 4: All the final finishes touches such as hardware and labels are added to your sewn swim.
Step 5: Your swim proceeds to the last quality check.
Step 6:  Your finished swim pieces are packaged and wrapped, ready to dispatch from our Bali Studio.
Step 7: You will then be notified with a shipping confirmation. All orders are shipped with DHL Express.

This process normally takes up to 5 working days from order confirmation, however please allow up to 3 weeks during busier periods. They will be sent out sooner if possible. Once your order has been dispatched we will send you a notification email with your DHL Express tracking number.

 

SHIPPING RATES AND DELIVERY TIMES

COVID-19 SHIPPING UPDATE

Due to the COVID-19 global situation, all orders are currently shipped with DHL Express (direct from Indonesia) and have been subject to a price increase.

Please expect up to 10 days shipping delay that is beyond our control. Most airfreights are cancelled and backlogged due to the shortage of flights globally.

Your patience and understanding is great appreciated at this time and we hope the situation changes soon.

AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND ORDERS 

All Australian orders are charged in AUD.
All NZ orders are charged in NZ.


Orders are dispatched from Australia or Indonesia.

Orders are dispatched and processed daily during business hours. (9am-5pm AWST, Monday to Friday).

A shipping confirmation will be sent once your 'made-to-order' has been completed and will be dispatched within 24 hours.

AUSTRALIA - Free shipping on orders over $250

DHL Express (3-10 business days) - $15.00

NEW ZEALAND - Free shipping on orders over $250

DHL Express (3-10 business days) - $20.00


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

US orders are charged in USD.
European orders are charged in EUR.
UK order are charged in GBP.
Canadian orders are charged in CAD
All orders everywhere else are charged in USD.

Orders are dispatched from Australia or Indonesia.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOM & IMPORT FEES

PALM SWIMWEAR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BUYERS CUSTOM, DUTIES, TAX AND CLEARANCE FEES. THESE FEES ARE ENFORCED BY YOUR RESIDING COUNTRY. CUSTOMERS WHO REFUSE SHIPMENT WILL STILL BE CHARGED. PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR COUNTRY’S TAX AND IMPORT REGULATIONS BEFORE COMMITTING TO YOUR PURCHASE.

Extra charges (sales tax, clearance and customs duty) may occur depending on your residing country and local customs charges. Please check your country's import regulations before you place your order as these charges are at the receivers expense. Please note that delays due to custom procedures are beyond our control and must be resolved by the receiver. Unfortunately PALM has no control over these charges, and customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

The customer takes full liability for all postal charges, return shipment costs, duty and custom charges and handling fees should they refuse to accept a parcel due to import duties or taxes.


CANCELLING YOUR ORDER

In the instance that you wish to cancel your order, we ask that you do so within 24 hours of placing it. Please contact us at info@palmswimwear.com to do so.
 

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PACKAGE GOES MISSING?

All items purchased on this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. Once your items are picked up by DHL, the responsibility for those items, purchased from this website, passes to you, the customer. In the unlikely case that your package is lost or damaged, you are responsible for lodging a claim with the carrier. If you wish to upgrade your service or add insurance for ease of mind at an extra cost, please email us at info@palmswimwear before you place your order and one of our team members will happily arrange this for you.

*Please check that the correct address has been submitted with your initial order, including the building name and unit number if applicable. If you accidentally input the incorrect address, please email info@palmswimwear.com immediately so that it can be amended before the time it is dispatched. Once your order has been sent, PALM will not be held accountable for any orders placed with incorrect addresses.
